Thanks for your clarity and candor. No cult is as comfortable with thinking individuals running the program as the LDS faith. It prospers under guidance of an unpaid clergy, giving of their time to help their congregations in matters spiritual and temporal.

No cult has such regard for education of its membership; many of the highest leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints hold PhDs. There’s a surgeon, a nuclear scientist, a doctor of education, & four university presidents among the 12 apostles.

That was beautiful Ted. These days, I find myself looking for writings that remind me, like Ed, Rick has gone on before me to await our hopeful eventual reunion.

I am reading your hurricaine book now, and have really never though so much about the well organized evil we face in our daily lives. It’s like a corporation. I thought I just had to look for it in individuals.

There is a significant difference in the two services relating to the presence of holy communion at every 11:15 a.m. service and holy communion offered only once a month at the 9:15 a.m. service. Those who consider holy communion an integral part of a Christian worship service would be attracted to the 11:15 format for that reason.
