". . . Make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge,
self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness,
brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing
measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ."
2 Peter 1: 5-8
- At the heart of our Vision for Amelia Plantation Chapel is the hope that all members will discover
that God has a purpose for their lives. We believe that faith in Jesus Christ is the beginning
of a never-ending process toward Christian maturity. God works differently in each person; some grow rapidly,
others grow slowly but steadily; all strive to become the person God intends.
- In worship, study, activities and fellowship, Christian growth is first and foremost about relationships:
our relationship with God and with each other. It is our goal that each member will find many opportunities
for growth through Christian Education and Fellowship, so that each of us will be progressively
renewed into the image of Christ, that we may love others as He has loved us.
