Peter Deane - Organist

Peter is of Irish and Welsh ancestry and was born on the Caribbean Island of Barbados, where he lived for twenty-one years. He began his musical training in Barbados under the Royal Schools of Music, London, England. He continued his training at the Tanya Polunin School of Music in London. Peter also studied Organ at the William Tyndale College in Farmington Hills, Michigan. He has been a Church Organist in various congregations in Michigan and Florida for forty-three years. Peter joined the staff of Amelia Plantation Chapel in August, 2005.
Peter enjoys traveling and is an avid fan of all things related to aviation and space travel. He has his private pilot's license with an instrument rating. His travels have taken him as far away as Australia, where he was thrilled to attend an Organ concert at the Sydney Opera House.
