Mary Thweatt - Secretary
  • Call or visit Amelia Plantation Chapel any time during the week and the first person to greet you will most likely be our secretary, Mary Thweatt. Mary's duties include management of membership data; producing the weekly bulletin; scheduling and recording weddings, baptisms and funerals; record-keeping for the Columbarium; scheduling for meetings and events; and assisting the pastor, music director and Governing Board with correspondence, records and printing.
  • Mary is a native of Fernandina Beach. She lived in Augusta, Georgia for twenty years, where she and her husband raised their three children. After moving back to Fernandina Beach, Mary assisted her husband in the office of his construction business and also worked as a medical secretary, legal secretary, and secretary for the Department of Corrections.
  • Mary has been secretary at Amelia Plantation Chapel for nine years. She enjoys reading historical fiction, listening to music and spending time with friends and family.
