Vision Statement
  1. Our vision is that we relate to one another in a caring, accepting, encouraging way so that we have a sense of belonging to a community that is the Body of Christ where each person uses his or her gifts to contribute to the benefit of the whole family.

    • Standard:  Visitors are welcomed, fellowship is fostered, relationships are deepened, the sick and needy are cared for, and members are generous stewards of their gifts and resources.
  2. Our vision is that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith, that we have power to grasp the extent of the love of Christ, and to be progressively renewed into his image that we may love others as he has loved us, by taking up the Cross and following him.

    • Standard:  Jesus Christ is Lord of our lives and informs everything we plan and do.
  3. Our vision is that our worship is fueled by the Holy Spirit, that the Holy Trinity is uplifted, that the congregation experiences the life-changing presence of God through reverent and relevant ministry of the Word and Sacrament through music, prayer affirmation, healing, and preaching.

    • Standard:  Music and preaching are of the highest quality, congregationally accessible, and under-girded by prayer and thorough preparation and execution.
  4. Our vision is that there are numerous opportunities for people to participate in Bible study, home groups, and classes, and that the preaching ministry is Biblical, Christ-centered, personal, and applicable to the needs of the congregation.

    • Standard:  Sufficient opportunities are offered and the preaching is faithful to its purpose.
  5. Our vision is that the congregation will witness to the Gospel of Christ and seek to share its resources to forward the Kingdom of God.

    • Standard:  Evangelism will be part of the lifestyle of our members through personal sharing of faith and inviting others to join us. Through sacrificial giving and service in the community we will assist many who are needy to know the compassion and mercy of God. All members will discover that God has a purpose for their lives so that they can contribute to ministry and missionary endeavors.
