WORSHIP
  • "To worship is to quicken the conscience by the holiness of God, to feed the mind with the truth of God, to purge the imagination by the beauty of God, to open the heart to the love of God, to surrender the will to the purpose of God."
    -- William Temple --

  • At Amelia Plantation Chapel, our 9:15 Sunday Worship service is the capstone in our lives as a part of the Body of Christ. We come to our worship service to honor God and proclaim his message. God speaks to us through the Scriptures, through the music, the prayers, the preaching of the Word, and through the exercise of the gifts of the community.
  • "Our Vision is that our worship is fuelled and filled by the Holy Spirit, that the Holy Trinity is uplifted, that the congregation experiences the life-changing presence of God through reverent and relevant ministry of the word and Sacrament through music, prayer, affirmation, healing and preaching."
  • A glance at our Weekly Bulletin will show that we follow a traditional Order of Worship familiar to a wide spectrum of denominational backgrounds, and Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month. We are particularly enriched and inspired by our Music Program: a talented Choir, special musicians and soloists, and (coming in November) our brand new Allen 80-Stop Diane Bish Signature Series Organ.
