Amelia Plantation Chapel CAMPUS SECURITY MEASURES

APC takes a comprehensive approach to church campus security that includes some measures that are visible and others that are not. Please note that we do not broadly discuss the specifics of our security procedures to avoid compromising their effectiveness. However, be aware that: Our Chapel Board has conducted security reviews, established a Chapel Protection Team, and we procure off-duty Deputy Sheriff’s from Nassau County Sheriff’s Office for security details on behalf of our worshipping community. In fact, we will continue to seek out expert law enforcement information in order to best protect our Chapel community. Nehemiah 4:9 serves as a model for us on what to do: “We prayed to our God and posted a guard for protection.”

Foundational Security Principles
 - A praying church family is key to our safety since the Lord is our refuge (Psalm 46:1).
 - A vigilant church community is critical, as the U.S. Department of Homeland Security instructs, “If you See something, Say something.”

Basic Security Policies
 - Be advised that the APC premises are protected by the Security and Public Safety patrols (SPC), CCTV Security Cameras along with an Alarm and Alert system.
 - For the security of our guests, please do not leave purses, backpacks, and other items unattended and please note that while at APC, you may be subject to a security interview and/or search of bags or boxes.
 - In order to assist in our efforts to provide a safe, secure and edifying worship environment, we ask for your cooperation in not engaging in conduct that is disorderly, disruptive or which interferes with or endangers guests or staff. A serious and timely response will be given to all incidents, with appropriate consequences for all inappropriate behavior.
