Put a Little Depth in Your Leisure
Vacations are wonderful opportunities to relax, reconnect with family, and enjoy life's blessings. They can also provide a rare chance to step away from the demands of daily life and reflect on what matters most.

In the midst of beautiful beaches, championship golf, fine dining, and unforgettable sunsets, many visitors find that spending an hour in worship or quiet reflection brings a deeper sense of peace and gratitude to their vacation experience.

At Amelia Plantation Chapel, you'll find a welcoming community, inspiring worship, beautiful music, and a tranquil setting that encourages both rest and renewal.
Sometimes the most memorable part of a vacation is not what you see, but what you experience within.
Why Visit the Chapel While You're on Vacation
Reconnect with What Matters:
Vacations give us the gift of time. The Chapel offers a place to reconnect with faith, family, and the values that often get crowded out by everyday schedules.

Experience a Unique Island Landmark:
Known as the "Chapel in the Woods," our sanctuary is surrounded by towering oaks and natural beauty that reflect the spirit of Amelia Island itself.

Find Peace and Quiet:
Whether you attend worship, spend a few moments in prayer, or simply sit quietly in the sanctuary, the Chapel provides a peaceful refuge from the pace of everyday life.

Meet Fellow Visitors and Residents:
Each Sunday, you'll find a welcoming mix of year-round residents, seasonal guests, and visitors from across the country.

Begin Your Week with Purpose:
Many guests tell us that attending worship while on vacation helps them start their week centered, grateful, and refreshed.
Walk to the Chapel
One of the unique features of Amelia Plantation Chapel is that it is easily accessible from many locations within the resort community.

From the Omni Amelia Island Resort:
The Chapel is approximately a 10 minute walk from the Omni.
Exit the resort toward the Shops at Omni Amelia Island. Continue along the pedestrian pathways toward Amelia Island Parkway and follow the signs leading to Amelia Plantation Chapel. The walk takes you through beautiful oak-canopied pathways and landscaped resort grounds.

From Marche Burette:
The Chapel is just a short walk from Marche Burette.
Leave Marche Burette and follow the pathways that leads to a bridge to the Chapel grounds. The route is shaded by live oaks and is easily accessible for guests staying nearby or enjoying breakfast or lunch at the market.

If you need assistance locating the Chapel, the Omni concierge or our ushers will be happy to help.
Self-Guided Chapel Tours
Even if you're unable to attend a worship service, we invite you to visit the Chapel during open hours for a self-guided tour.
