Be part of one of our most magical days at Charis! While our patients are out, volunteers rush in to transform Charis House into a festive, joyful home for Christmas. From hanging lights to decorating trees, every hand helps create a space full of hope and cheer for our patients when they return.

Samaritan’s Purse is helping homeowners in Florida and Alabama who were hard hit by Hurricane Isaias. Much work has been done, but there are thousands of families who still need assistance.

Volunteers are urgently needed in Pace and Pensacola, Florida, and Brewton, Alabama, to help with debris cleanup, tree work, and tarping roofs. We want those who are suffering to know that God loves them and hasn’t forgotten them.

Sign up to volunteer and prayerfully pass this email along to friends, family members, or those in your church who may be interested in serving as the hands and feet of Jesus

If you haven't turned in your shoebox yet, there's still time! Please bring your filled shoebox to the chapel in time for our blessing of the boxes.

Every shoebox is an opportunity to share God's love, spread joy, and bring hope to a child in need.

Shepherds, mark your calendars for Wednesday, November 4 at 1:00 pm. Rev. Jim Tippins will be joining us and sharing a new presentation.  The sign-up sheet is located in the Chapel office and the Narthex. 

We have several openings on our Flower Calendar between now and December. If you’ve been thinking about donating towards the altar flowers in honor or memory of someone special, now is a wonderful time to reserve a date.

As we approach the holiday season, we encourage everyone to be vigilant and watchful for potential scams. Unfortunately, scammers may send emails or messages pretending to be a Chapel staff member or member of our congregation. If you receive a suspicious email or message from someone you believe may be posing as a member of our Chapel family, please contact the Chapel office so we can be made aware and help alert others if necessary. Please remember: The Chapel will never ask you to purchase gift cards, and we will never ask you to RSVP for a Chapel event through an unfamiliar or suspicious link. When in doubt, contact the Chapel office first. Thank you for helping us keep our Chapel family informed and safe!
